Friends of Juba Orphanage started an Agriculture/Gardening Project with the older children in 2011, encouraging them to plant crops on the arable orphanage land for the benefit of everyone who lives there. The project has led to a number of youth taking responsibility for the garden, their efforts improving the vegetable intake and diets of all of the children!
