The Library

In 2009, after years of hard work and tenacity, Ms. Rose Tulba inaugurated the Juba Orphanage Library and opened it to the children at the JO. Today, the Library serves as a safe and quiet space where the children attend daily homework tutoring, and come to read, write and draw.

Rose, who now lives in the UK, is a member of the Friends of Juba Orphanage (FJO) and used to visit the Orphanage to spend time with the children and assess their needs before the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.

FJO and the Juba Orphanage give warm thanks to Rose for her generosity of spirit and dedication to this important improvement to the Orphanage, children, and their future.

You can donate story books and other materials to improve the children’s reading skills.
